Jeremy Welsh-Loveman is a data analyst in the District of Columbia’s Office of Out of School Time Grants and Youth Outcomes in the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Education. Jeremy’s work focuses on using program, assessment and educational attainment data to support OST programs in DC. Prior to his current position he was a research associate in the Justice Police Center at the Urban Institute where his work examined sentencing policy, juvenile justice interventions, and the costs of victimization and criminal justice programs. Before Urban, he was a research assistant at the American Institutes for Research, the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab, and MDRC, where he focused on quantitative program evaluations. Jeremy holds a BA in international economics and Georgetown University and received his MPP from the University of California, Berkeley.
