Edric Figueroa is the Community Engagement Manger at the Northwest Network of Bisexual, Trans, Lesbian & Gay Survivors of Abuse. His role at the NW Network includes overseeing the prevention programs for adults and youth, one-on-one advocacy based counselling with LGBTQ survivors and coaching advocates to build the skills for both. A queer survivor and first-generation Peruvian raised in the southern state of Georgia, Edric’s work centers building the self-determination of individuals, embracing the intersections of identity and addressing the social determinants that create conditions for myriad forms of violence.
