The Framework & Momentum for an ELO Quality Systems in Washington State (Systems Track-Closed)
How do we best leverage state, federal and private investments to build a continuous quality improvement system and accountability across the age continuum that supports high-quality programs serving children and youth from birth through young adults? The Expanded Learning Opportunities (ELO) Quality Initiative gave Washington State an opportunity to use a private/public funding model to test quality practices and develop tools for the ELO field through a research-based process.

This panel of ELO stakeholders who served as advisory members for Washington State’s Expanded Learning Opportunities Quality Initiative will share lessons learned about the legislation, funding, and research that contributed to building a strong foundation for the ELO quality system. Learn about the exciting next steps that will continue the work and integrate these best practices and tools into other school-age and youth development systems.
