Co-Executive Directors Victoria Santos and Rose Edwards will engage participants in community building activities that explore methods for forming authentic relationships across difference. Building on their 9+ years of co-leadership work at Young Women Empowered, participants will walk away with activities that they can utilize to engage young people and adult allies who work with youth in discussions and projects about racial, gender, and economic justice. This workshop will include positive risk taking, personal story sharing, creative expression, and small group discussions that will support all the participants in their personal and professional development.
