In this session, participants will discuss how to promote a sense of agency by showing youth how they can make a difference in their community through STEM. Participants will experience how Techbridge Girls uses Community Impact Projects, which elevate youth voice and leadership, as a way to create agency and connections to STEM careers. Finally, participants will reflect on the project, and will brainstorm ways that they can incorporate STEM-focused impact projects in their own programs.
